Our aim for this fundraising challenge, is to get as many people involved as possible. Initialy the fundraising will go towards purchasing a communal bench in Dave's name, This will be facing the cricket pitch in llandaff fields. This particular location is special to a lot of people, due to it being where many of us take part in an anual charity cricket match, which Dave and friends have organised for many year to raise money for Kyle's goal. Due to this location being a place that holds a lot of happy memories, we couldn't think of a better place to put Dave's bench and to celebrate his 50th Birthday.

We have named the challeng - 50 days for Dave. This is a challenge we hope to get as many people on board as possible. We appreciate that no everyone has the time or lifestyle to commit to time consuming challanges. So we are encoraging all to set themselves a challange of any sort, one that will have a positive impact on their lives. Wether that will be physically, mentally or spiritually.

Is there something you have always wanted to do for yourself, told yourself you wanted to achive or something you have just never gotten around to doing?

The 50 day challange will start on the 25th of January to the 15th of March.
Some goals already set include: giving up chocolate, Alcohol, Energy/sugary drinks, going for a daily walk or exercising. Other include volunteering, giving up social media, putting your phone away after 9pm, journaling or meditating for 50 days. Anything you can think of that will have a positive impact on your life and/or is challenges you.

In order to encorage one another thoughout, what will undoutably be, a challanging 50 days for all particapating. We will be setting up a social media page where we can join and post your progress. We have also created and printed a countdown calender for all that wish to participate.

Following the completion of our 50 days of Dave. We are looking to get a venue arranged for us all to get together on the 18th of March to celebrate Dave's 50th and all your achivments! All donations following the purchase of the bench and organisation will be put towards the charity we are creating in Dave's name. This charity will be ongoing and one in which we will continue to raise money in the aim to train adults and children CPR in the hope to help save as many lives as possible.
