We are reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a sense of urgency as we face the impending loss of our beloved off-road site at Harbour Hill Copse Aldermaston. For 20 years, 4x4without a club has been a second home for many of us, it’s where we gather to unwind, have fun, lend support to each other and of course, off road. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are at risk of eviction, and we desperately need your help to save it!

About the Site:

The Aldermaston off-road site has become more than just a recreational area; it is a vibrant hub for our community. Here, individuals and families from all walks of life gather to enjoy off-roading. Our site is also a vital training ground for local emergency services, offering them a space to practice and enhance their skills in a safe and controlled environment.

For many, this location is not just a place to off road; it's where friendships are made, skills are developed, and community spirit thrives. Over the last 20 years, this land has served as a place for education and a means to promote responsible use of local byways. It provides a safe and manged environment for people to enjoy driving, helping to prevent overuse of our historic unsurfaced roads.

Our time on site we have actively maintained the land by planting trees, clearing litter from the main road, and ensuring well maintained boundaries. Our commitment to fostering a healthy environment is reflected in the noticeable increase in the population of Muntjac Deer and Foxes.

Losing this site would mean losing a valuable space that not only those in the local community but also nationwide. As over the past two decades, we have raised thousands of pounds for various charities, including the Air Ambulance Service, Veterans in Action, The Fire Brigade, Cancer Research just to name a few.

What’s Going On:

Unfortunately, we have received notice that the site may soon be closed due to eviction threats. The news hit hard, and now we scrambling to secure funding to negotiate with the landowners and cover legal costs. If we don’t act quickly, we risk losing this community site forever because the landowner has for unknown reasons decided to remove us. It is suspected that they are looking to sell the land but they have refused to provide clear confirmation as to the reasons for seeking our removal.

We have been accused of breaching our terms of occupation which is denied by us. We have consistently used the land in the same manner throughout the period of occupation.

We are asking for your support to raise £20,000 to:

- Cover legal fees and negotiations to secure our lease.

- Enhance our facilities to better serve the community.

- Organize community events to strengthen our bonds.
