WHY - see below

We are a group of people who have all connected from simply our passion to raise monies and challenge our mental and physical limits into the National Three Peaks Challenge. This involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales in 48 hours.

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.

The group of us have chosen 2 wonderful charities to raise funds for, SRUK and Heads2minds. We will be splitting the donations made 50/50 to both charities. Information about the chosen charities below for interest! Testimonials from our dedicated walkers are also below.

About the charities

Heads2Minds is a charity based in Essex who are helping create a world in which anyone experiencing mental health challenges feels safe, understood and respected in various ways. The charity need all the funds they can get to raise awareness about mental health and wellbeing and offer support to anyone experiencing mental health challenges. They are driven to help reduce the stigma around various mental health disorders by promoting a better understanding.

SRUK is a charity based on research into the treatment of Scleroderma and Raynaud’s and provide vital information and support to the many people affected by these conditions in the UK. They also help raise awareness and understanding of these conditions, support those affect and fund ground breaking research to hopefully some day, find a cure.
