Story

Myself, Craig Forbes, Darren Quigg and Ross Wilson will be attempting to run the 3 peaks on the 8th of August. Well that's a lie, Ross is only the driver but insists this is the hardest part of the venture. We will be doing this to raise money to help James Tangney's recovery and rehabilitation after suffering an accident in India that left him paralysed from the neck down initially. After surgery in India he was flown to the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Glasgow where he is recovering and undergoing intense physio. He has shown good signs of progress and is able to get himself about with the aid of a wheel chair. Although his progress has been promising so far James still has a long road ahead and every day tasks which we take from granted will never be the same for him. We aim to raise funds to help with any equipment he may need going forward and to help reintegrate him back into day to day living.
James has a great interest in sport and has captained and been player of the year a number of times for Fort William Shinty Club. He has many honours playing both Shinty and football and all his team mates know his dogged determination. This is the same determination he is shown while down in Glasgow recovering from his injuries.
We wish James the very best recovery and if you could donate we would be extremely grateful. Thank you.
