So I foolishly signed up to do the National 3 Peaks challenge at the end of the month July 28th. I had planned to do it some 10 years ago when i was young fit and healthy but the week before ended up getting my pacemaker fitted, so as you can imagine was quite gutted to have missed out on the experience. 10 years later a few of the lads from my old place of work decided to do it again and i agreed, not realising that i am now 10 years older, 3 stone heavier and nowhere near as fit as i need to be lol. How hard can it be i keep telling myself ( very hard people keep telling me ). So i thought as added inspiration and drive to ensure i do complete it and don't flake out Ive decided to ask you generous people to sponsor me. My Nephew Connor suffers with Autism and it is something that is close to my heart having experienced the difficulties he and my sister have had in his growing up. If i could add just a little bit of benefit to an organisation that helps children and families like him then what better cause could there be. So if i can ask PLEASE dig deep and give generously as its all for a good cause and will be much appreciated by me and my family. I'm off to do some training now as i only have weeks left haha
