I've raised £7500 to help fund breastfeeding education and breastfeeding support for Black, Asian and other ethnic minorities.

I organised and launched Black Breastfeeding Week in the UK in August 2018. My aim is to break the breastfeeding barriers for black families who suffer the highest rate of infant mortality here in the UK. I know breastfeeding can significantly reduce the numbers of infant mortality and have launched this fundraiser to help break the barriers .
UNICEF and WHO (World Health Organization) recommended for babies to be breastfed exclusively up untill 6 months and untill 2 years or beyond alongside other foods.
The money I raise will go towards antenatal breastfeeding education for parents, breastfeeding education for those who would like to train in supporting mothers with breastfeeding using accurate evidence-based information, subsidised breastfeeding support for mothers, breastfeeding groups, events and workshops.
£7500 is a starting point to get this intervention rolling and help me be able to deliver all mention above.
Every little helps towards this mission!

Thank you for all your support, it means a lot!
