I am riding a terrible bike for 100 miles in a day to raise money for our local childrens hospice. Well known and well loved by the communities of the West Midlands where I live.

This is an unsported ride, no broom wagon just a map and a terrible old bike... A 1950s Hercules 3 speed bought on eBay for £15.

A bit about myself... life long cyclist, I run [ with my partner and many others ] The Walsall Bike Project, a not for profit company getting Walsall cycling, teaching, recycling and providing bikes to the less well off in society. I race but shorter events and haven't cycled more than 60 miles in 3 years so this is a proper challenge for man and bike
