I've raised £1400 to Raise awareness of ANE within the medical, research & general communities, for future fundraising events & supporting ANE families

Back in March, I was given the most terrible news that our best friends little boy Grayson, had passed away. At only 10 months old, he had his whole life ahead of him but unfortunately due to a rare disease called “ANE- Acute Necrotizing Encephalopathy” he never got the chance to live it. I can’t begin to imagine the pain Faye and Craig were- and still are- going through. However, I am pleased to see they are channeling their hurt and pain into something positive!
Having followed their recent event “A families climb to the top” it inspired me to want to do my bit to support Grayson’s Legacy Support Trust. Having started doing 5k runs at the beginning of lockdown, I thought as I had more time on my hands that I would set myself a challenge. I’m not one for doing things by halves and as such, I am planning to do a 100km (62.14 miles) Ultra-Run on the 24th October. This will prodominently be along the ridgeway from Cumnor, Oxford to Marlborough (finishing at the Avebury Stones). All being well, I am aiming for approx 14 hours to complete.
I would appreciate any donations, no matter how small, to support our friends wit their aims/goals of Graysons trust. Please visit their page to read their story and follow their journey. Graysons Legacy Support Trust
We will be updating the Facebook and Instagram pages for the trust throughout the run so you can keep track on how I am getting on. IG: @graysonslegacysupport FB: @graysonslegacysupporttrust
Thank you for all your support, Jordan
