"100K In May In Memory Of Sarah Summers"

On the 7th of April 2024, our very close friend Sarah Summers tragically choked upon some food and went into cardiac arrest during a BBQ for friends and family. Sadly, her heart had stopped and she had also stopped breathing.

Although we managed to start her heart again before the ambulance arrived, she was then rushed to a hospital in Stevenage and spent five days in the Internsive Care Unit, before the doctors there sadly gave everyone the news we were dreading. The news that Sarah had severe brain damage and would never recover. Her machines were eventually turned off and she tragically passed away.

In memory of our much loved friend Sarah, I am running 100KM during May 2024. One day I may run 10KM, another I may run less or more but by the end of the month I plan to have run the full 100K. I will upload my progress with screenshots of my running app.

I would dearly love this run to be in celebration of Sarah, who was a bright, funny and lovely friend to our family and countless others. She was also a much loved parent to five children.

Any money that I raise from "100K In May In Memory Of Sarah Summers " will be donated directly to Sarah's Family.
