We are 9 people (Alex, Caelan, Douglas, Esther, Gavin, Mandie, Peter, Phillida, and Rachel), running 1000 miles during the month of March to raise £1843 towards the total cost (£300,000) of extending and renovating our church halls at Burghead Free Church.

The church buildings are used widely by groups for all ages - from our after school club to youth club, groups for exploring faith and serving the community (including our community food project 'the Blessings Box'). However, the church halls are old, damp, confusing and in major need of refurbishment. We hope to extend and fully renovate this space so it is of use to the church and the local community.

Why £1843? - the year our church was founded. We want to see buildings fit for purpose for the next 180 years.
