We were saddened to hear today that Mark passed away on the 24th June.  A sad loss to us as a community but even more so to his family and close friends - our thoughts are with them.  Rest in Peace, doodab - hope the day rate is good up there :o)

ContractorUK.com has been supporting contractors since the early days of IR35 and the initial inflation of the dot com bubble.  The forum has provided on the spot advice about umbrella companies, limited companies, recruitment agencies and working with clients for thousands of individuals trying to find their route through providing services to companies outside of the standard employer / employee relationship.

We recently learnt that our friend, Doodab, was diagnosed with cancer.  He has shared much of his diagnosis and treatment with us showing strength, courage and optimism - he is an inspiration to us all and we wish him well with his treatment.

We are simply asking for donations to help Macmillan in the excellent work that they do to help cancer patients.  Donations of £10 or over will receive a FREE copy of the CUKBook - a recipe book written and edited by members of the ContractorUK forum.  We were looking a releasing the book via Amazon but they take too big a chunk in fees so we have opted for this route. 

The CUKBook is not for sale as this would mean that you would not be able to use gift aid along with your donation.  So please give generously, add on gift aid if you are eligible.
