About Concern for Animals
Concern for Animals' mission is to assist those struggling financially with pets in need of food, medical care, spay and neuter procedures, and to promote the welfare of all animals. Operations include a weekly pet food bank, spay/neuter program, trap, neuter, and return, and financial assistance with veterinary needs. Those served live in Thurston, Mason, and Lewis Counties of Western Washington and are low income. Low income is defined as student, military, or on federal or state assistance. These people very much want to care for their pets, yet lack the financial capacity. CFA’s purpose is to enable them to keep their animals happy and healthy without having to choose between that and other necessary expenses.
