This is my very first Marathon.  I've always been a keen runner, but have never gone this far before.  Blind Veterans UK have been very kind to offer me one of their places.  They are a fantastic charity, who continue to offer a wide range of support for ex-service members and their families.  Your money will help go a long way to changing someones life for the better.

I came aware of Blind Veterans UK following the tragic death of my friend Capt Steve Healey in Afghanistan last year.  He had done some some fantastic charity work for them and by me doing this, we will be able to keep Steve in our memories for ever.
