Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

During August of this year I will taking part in the biggest challenge of my life, cycling from John O' Groats to Lands End on my bicycle, madness I know !!!

In training for this I will have cycled over a thousand miles and during the course of the event I will be covering over 880 miles, on avereage over 100 miles a day, with some day's cycling in excess of a 120 miles.

I have had some wonderfull support from so many people in preparation for this event, I would like to thank Snow and Rock and Cycle Surgery, my brilliant employers, Icebreaker for their amazing clothing, Willier for the awesome bike, all my Staff at Snow and Rock Chertsey for their encouragement !! and most importantly Lisa, Samuel and Hannah for all their help with fund raising, and doing without Daddy, whilst I have been training.

I would also like to thank my Mum and Dad for their support and I will be dedicating the cycle to the memory of my Godfather, Len Hartley, who, with my father spent many memorable days cycling through the English countryside together.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Wooden Spoon gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, please make sure Gordon does his bit as Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
