Cool Earth is delighted to be partnering with London-based multidisciplinary artist Coco Capitán. 

Coco is fundraising to keep rainforest standing through an online raffle, giving you an opportunity to win one of three original artworks while supporting Cool Earth.

All profits from the fundraiser will go towards Cool Earth's rainforest conservation work.

 The raffle

For two weeks only, March 31st - April 13th, London based artist Coco Capitán is fundraising to protect vital rainforest with Cool Earth.

Artworks retail price start from approximately £3,000. Here’s how you can be involved and have the chance to win one of Coco’s oil paintings, created for Cool Earth.

Donate £5 for a chance to be added to the draw to win one of three original artworks, painted exclusively for Cool Earth. 

Note, every £5 donated acts as an entry. For your entry to be counted, you must tick the box to opt in to communications from Cool Earth so we have permission to contact you. You can subscribe from Cool Earth communications at any time.

 About Coco

Coco is a Spanish-born London based artist known for her artistic and design work across different paths, practices and media. She likes making things, painting, thinking, writing, photography, listening to others, finding solutions to problems, making books, arranging spaces, mixing music, designing and exhibitions, among other things.

She was born in Seville in 1992, and moved to London at the age of 17, where she studied Photography at the University of Arts of London and majored as MA Fine Art Photography at the Royal College of Art.

 About Cool Earth

Cool Earth is the charity that works with rainforest communities to halt deforestation and its impact on the climate crisis. 

Founded in 2007, Cool Earth supports local and indigenous knowledge to find the best ways to address threats to the forest while making communities stronger and more resilient. 

Rainforest is the largest carbon store on land and protecting carbon-rich forest is key to averting climate change. 

Cool Earth is working to keep rainforest standing in all three global tropical biomes, including rainforest in Peru, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, Cameroon, Mozambique, and the DRC.

 Terms and Conditions

Three winners will be chosen by a Random Number Generator with each winner being sent one painting. Prize selected is by Cool Earth and the winner will not be able to choose which painting they each receive. 

All entries are to be made online and not to be sold to or by any person offline. 

Entries may not be bought or sold by anyone under the age of 18. Any person found to be under 18 years of age automatically forfeits the right to any prize. It is an offence to gamble if underage.  

The raffle is open to all who make a £5 donation to the Coco Capitán fundraiser, except individuals having any connection with the production and management of the draw. 

£5 is considered as one entry into the draw.

It is accepted to make multiple donations of £5 for multiple entries within the limit of £100 per entrant.

Cool Earth and Coco Capitán will accept no responsibility for lost entries or entries that do not opt in to communication. 

Cool Earth and Coco Capitán reserves the right to use the name(s) of the winner(s) in an abbreviated form in any future mailings or promotional material. 

By donating to the Coco Capitán raffle fundraiser and thus participating in the draw, acceptance of these rules is implied and it will be assumed entrants have read and understood all terms and conditions. Self-exclusion. You can exclude yourself from future raffles and lotteries by contacting us at fundraising@coolearth.org.
