About Clyde Scouts
Clyde Scouts is one of eight geographical areas that supports Scout Groups and Districts in Scotland and it is recognised as a Scottish Charity by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator; SC010415.
Clyde Scouts supports Scouting over the following areas of Scotland: Glasgow; East Renfrewshire; East Dunbartonshire; North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire.
Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society
Scouting takes place when young people, in partnership with adults, work together based on the values of Scouting and:
-enjoy what they are doing and have fun
-take part in activities indoors and outdoors
-learn by doing
-create memories and friends
-take responsibility and make choices
-undertake new and challenging activities
-& learn skills that will help them in their next steps in life
