About Clued Up Project
Clued Up is a comprehensive, “youth friendly” substance use support and information service for young people under the age of 26 in Fife, Scotland also targeting the wider issues of general well-being and lifestyle. Providing education, prevention, early intervention and diversion for young people affected by their own or someone else’s drug/alcohol/substance use.
One to one support provided for young people using a key worker model. Together we look at how drugs/alcohol are affecting their lives and work on an action plan to meet their individual needs; Whole family support service Making it Work for Families is an innovative ‘whole family partnership approach’ supporting families in the Kirkcaldy/Levenmouth areas with a P7/S1/S2 young person in the family; Group work - specific issue-based workshops, outdoor activities, residential trips, team building and group programmes; Drop-ins - currently run across Fife and young people can access a worker without the need for referral or an appointment; Street work – sessions are held in the community on Friday nights, engaging and building relationships with young people in their own environment; Specialist employability support - for young people aged 16–26 to achieve their employability potential by helping them find their own path into education/employment/ training; Volunteering/peer mentoring - CU Next Generation is our peer mentor and volunteering programme, which can provide opportunities to people with lived experience.
