Meet Anthony and Matthew! Two amazing individuals who I met on a recent visit to Hft's residential homes in North London. 

Hft provides local support to people with learning disabilities, their families and carers. Thanks to Hft, both Anthony and Matthew live independently and are able to make their own choices about how they live their life; including finding a job, building relationships and taking part in activities. And like many of us, they love to sing.

On October 11th, I will be tying my laces, plugging into my iPod and joining 16,000 others at the starting line of the Royal Parks Half Marathon. And all in the name of singing!

Anthony and Matthew are part of the fantastic Hft choir. This year, the choir hope to record and professionally produce their very own Christmas song and video - but - they need £1,000 to do it.

So far, they have been unsuccessful in their applications to fund this worthwhile project. However, one amazingly generous private donor recently pledged £500 towards the project and the choir now desperately need another £500 to make this dream a reality - this is where we come in!

Please, dig deep and help the members of the Hft Choir produce their own Christmas hit. Here are just a few of the reasons you should support this wonderful project:

- You know exactly where your money is going because we are fundraising for a particular project within the charity.

- Your money will go twice as far  because once the record has been produced, members of the choir and staff at Hft will market and sell the CDs produced. All proceeds will go back into Hft's amazing projects.
