'Christmas without You' - Music Single
Fundraising for Age UK Nottingham And Nottinghamshire
Story
This year has predicted the loneliness Christmas on record.
Many will spend this festive season separated from family, with so many lost loved ones and elderly people spending their time alone.
During this lockdown period, I have put pen to paper to capture what just one of many families will be going through with the power of music. I am so humbled to have worked with such talented creative companies and artists to create this special charity single.
1.9 million older people in the UK often feel ignored or invisible. This is where Age UK Notts is there to help local older people combat loneliness.
They do this by:
- Providing them with someone to talk to through a befriending service
- Connecting them to local activities and communities, help & support teams and exercise groups.
In addition to all of this, they provide people with dementia with somewhere to go through their daycare service
This year they've had to adapt almost all their services to cope with Covid-19 restrictions but their commitment to supporting those who need it is still there.
My song ‘Christmas Without You’ will be available on all platforms including Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music to share with all of you.

Age UK's story
We support lonely and isolated older people, living in the County, with a volunteer visitor or telephone befriender to chat with regularly.
Our friendly trained volunteers provide regular companionship, provide an opportunity to share life’s experiences and a listening ear. Whether it’s over a cup of tea, a game of cards or putting the world to rights, everyone feels the benefit of talking.
