Fundraising for Breakthrough T1D
Story
Dad ( Alistair) and I are walking the 177 mile coast to coast Offa's Dyke Path 11-23 August.
As my brother Ben (aged 10) has had Type 1 Diabetes for 5 years now (insulin dependent , 4 injections per day ) we thought we would do it for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) which seeks to find what causes (and subsequently cure) Type 1 - not to be confused with adult Type 2 Diabetes.
We're hoping to raise over £1,770 being £10 per mile, please sponsor us for a mile or more.
To participate - all you have to do is follow the instructions below, Justgiving will keep us updated on the donations.
