Chris Buckerfield was my father. He was a fantastic dad and we all miss him dearly. Sadly, dad suffered from debilitating strokes in his later years and this severely affected his life.

He was always such a giving person and would never want anyone else to suffer in the way he did. He would be proud to be part of this fund raising effort designed to help others who’ve been victim of a stroke.

A special mention goes to the wonderful staff at the Pinehurst care home in Camberley. Their care for my father was exemplary and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Pinehurst team. A fantastic facility staffed by wonderful people. It should never have been placed under the threat of closure.
