Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the Loughborough Half Marathon with some fellow 'athletes' to raise some money for cancer research UK. Although i have done a couple of half marathons before, i have left myself with not long to train so i am sure it will be a struggle! Fingers crossed i will finish in a respectable time and in one piece.

Cancer can affect people of all ages and lifestyle, devastating families and ruining friendships. Statistics suggest as much as 40% of the UK population will develop a form of cancer at some point in their lives. This shows us just how important it is to find a cure for cancer. All of us in the team have been affected by cancer at varying severities, experiencing loved ones or close friends falling victim to this deadly disease. Through research we aim to find a cure and to beat cancer once and for all
