2 years ago I was diagnosed with Birdshot, a rare potentially blinding disease. I am fortunately to have been diagnosed early & thanks to research I am currently in remission, thanks to medicine. The research into Birdshot continues & being a rare disease gets little support. However thanks to Hospitals like Moorfields Eye Clinic, research continues. So if I can help by raising funds towards helping people who are less fortunate through cycling a couple of miles or so, here goes. I still remember what a shock it was to be informed "you could loose your sight in 10yrs".
