All over the world, 7 million people fight for different human rights under the name Amnesty International. It is difficult to talk about one big problem since Amnesty International is committed to all human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. All these people have one common goal: to strive for a world where all human rights are respected. And we, as 4 international students unite to contribute to this.

The cosy Christmas period is coming, in which togetherness plays a major role. Because of COVID-19, we can no longer come together to make our voice heard for Amnesty International, but we have a solution. We want to show the people who are disadvantaged in the field of human rights that they are not alone by giving a signal together and we need you for that!

We want to "bring the Amnesty International logo to life" by simply placing a candle or a light behind your window at home. For each candle or light that is placed we ask 2 things. First, you must take a picture and post it on social media with the #chRIGHTSmasforeverybody. Secondly, we ask for a donation for each candle or light.

In this way, we will show together that COVID-19 cannot stop us from continuing to strive for equality for all, just like everyone deserves a merry, warm Christmas.
