Story
We are Chloe Jackson and Eleanor Freret and in June/August of this year we will be taking a 12-day trek via the Lemosho route to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
We will be raising money for the St. James's Place Foundation in aid of Stephen Sutton's fundraising efforts and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
This is a challenge we have looked forward to for over four years now, and we have always known that we wanted to do it in support of Teenage Cancer Trust. This incredible charity supports young people battling against one of the most widespread and life changing diseases that the human race faces. They provide cancer treatment centres, support services and recovery facilities. For more info please visit http://www.teenagecancertrust.org
Many of you will have heard of Stephen Sutton's long-term battle with cancer, and by the time of his death on May 14th of this year he had raised over £4 Million. By raising money through the St James's Place Foundation, St James's Place has offered to match all donations up to a total of £5000 - so for every pound you donate, the St. James's Place Foundation will also donate £1 to Teenage Cancer Trust. In this way you will be contributing to the incredible legacy that Stephen Sutton created!
We hope to benefit the charity as much as we can, but this will only be possible due to the brilliant people who support our challenge and donate. Even if it just means skipping your morning coffee and donating £2, it WILL make a difference! So please give whatever you can and remember that all your donations will be matched by the St James's Place Foundation until we hit £5000!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Thank you for your time and support!
