Welcome to Weekday Wellness
Join Charitable Travel for a live zoom Body Conditioning workout, suited for all abilities every Monday and Thursday at 08:30 starting on Monday 18th January 2021.
Together with non-diet nutritionists, mental health and a Q&A session at the end. The workout will last 30 minutes and the Q&A's 10-15 mins at end of each workout.
Every Thursday there will be expert guests invited to share and participate on their specialised subject, including Olympic athletes, mental health counsellors and nutritionists.
As you know we are Charitable Travel so, although the sessions are free, we would love your kindness by making a small donation of £10 per week to registered charity, The Mintridge Foundation who are dedicated to enhancing life skills in young people through sport. We will share more about this amazing charity, how to sign up and how to give below.
The team at our unique social enterprise travel company Charitable Travel champion our social purpose, helping charity fundraising and helping our customers give to their choice of charity, at no extra cost, when booking travel and holidays. Our aim is to truly help society and our community at large by supporting the work of incredible charities, always but now at a time when they have never needed us more.
Wellness of spirit through generosity, love and kindness to others is part of the journey of total wellbeing. We all know how good it feels to do good, but we also know how good it feels once the immediate recovery from exercise is done. Looking after our bodies through well planned exercise and considered diet creates a virtuous circle between the physical shape we are in and our calmness of mind and inner peace.
We would like to introduce Charitable Travel's wonderful new Wellness Ambassador, Jenny Tomei.
Meet Jenny
My name is Jenny Tomei and I am a Qualified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Therapist. I have been a Personal Trainer for over 7 years, and I love motivating and educating others about the different aspects of fitness and nutrition. I love encouraging others to find confidence, by being able to bring out the best in people, also taking the time to listen, being supportive, and offering reassurance. You can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. My areas of specialities include weight loss, disordered eating, digestive issues, including IBS, pre- and post-natal exercise and running. I love being able to empower and educate others to overcome disruptive eating habits, by helping people to improve their relationship with food, to be free of yo-yo dieting and to lead a healthy and happy life. I can help the healthiest amongst us, and those seeking to overcome challenges and improve their health and wellbeing.

The Mintridge Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to enhancing life skills in young people through sport. We provide a support network for young people by harnessing the power of positive sporting role models. The Mintridge Foundation assists young people of all ages, abilities, and physical capabilities to develop confidence and resilience, and creates awareness of the importance of mental and physical wellbeing through sport.
Their team of Ambassadors – Olympians, Paralympians, and other professional sports stars from over 20 sports, both team and individual – work with young people in schools, clubs, and academies
across the UK. Starting with visits including assemblies, coaching clinics and classroom sessions tailored to each organisation’s requirements, their ambassadors can then provide one- on- one remote mentoring in a safeguarded environment, delivered via technology such as Fitswarm and Playwaze to build a lasting legacy for individuals.
