Story

Once upon a time, I had a brilliant idea... Now the thought of this is more like "Oh dear!"  Putting my fears aside, this challenge, with your help, can help so many special girls and boys who face challenges every day - and who still have so much to smile about!

Ravenscliffe High School & Sports College is the only secondary special school in Calderdale for up to 138 students aged 11-19.  I was first introduced to the school last year and after meeting the students, staff and parents - I was immediately inspired and full of admiration for them.  I wanted to help make a difference!

The purpose of this Skydive is to help raise funds to equip Ravenscliffe@SpringHall - a fully accessible Sixth Form and Community Centre that will provide learning and inclusion opportunities for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.  Funding has been secured to build Spring Hall, but there's still a long way to go to ensure they invest in the best equipment and facilities.

In addition to fundraising for these amazing people, this is also a massive personal challenge for me.  I'm not so crazy about the idea of jumping out of a plane... but I'm sure it will be worth it!

I'm overwhelmed by all your support in such a short space of time. Please donate to help me smash my target further!

Thank you,

Chantelle
