Fundraising for The Centre for Computing History

Computing History Streamathon Nov 2020!, 6 November 2020
Just when we thought 2020 couldn't get any worse! We were about to re-open after many months of being closed but then disaster struck when a mains water pipe burst and flooded much of the ground floor of the museum.

Story

The unprecedented times of this Coronavirus lockdown means the museum has no visitors or schools attending, no workshops and events ... and these are what keep us going. Almost 100% of the income from these streams is gone. We need your help.

About the charity

We are an educational charity and museum dedicated to the history of computing. Our collections, displays, learning programmes, and events offer hands-on experiences to explore how these powerful devices became an inextricable part of all our lives and changed our world in just 80 years.
