About The CCG Trust - Investors in Wildlife
The CCG Trust, operating as "Investors In Wildlife", makes grants to effective conservation projects in the field, in and around key national parks in East Africa. All work closely with local communities and provide significant employment opportunities. We raise funds from donors and investors in order to support projects selected for their local impact and effectiveness on the ground. No fees are paid to our trustees, who give their time for free.
The founder has worked in the field in Africa and understands how relatively small levels of funds can make a big difference to wildlife protection and the people that work in conservation; his contacts have enabled us to find excellent projects set up and run by top conservationists.
We demand regular reports on progress and how funds are spent, which are shared with our donors.
Our work supports ranger employment, anti-poaching patrols, conservation education, park rehabilitation, community conservation and rare species sanctuaries (for chipanzees, wild dogs, cheetahs and rhinos).
