We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Friends and family will know that this has been a difficult year for our family although my husband and I always knew that that things could have been worse as we had our health. We therefore felt awful when our friend, Kyla told us that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in April of this year.
In October she sent me a text message with a link to a blog that she had written for a young women's cancer blog. You can read the article that was published here: http://youngwomensbreastcancerblog.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/breast-cancer-awareness-month-positive.html
The text read 'you are one of the good friends I mention in it. Thank you x.' The blog inspired me to apply to run for the London Marathon for 'We are Macmillan.' I knew that the charity offered excellent palliative care but did not realise they also support cancer survivors, like Kyla who although have physically healed, are adjusting to the emotional strains that the disease can leave as its legacy. Please would you sponsor me to help support lovely people like Kyla to rebuild their lives and support those who don't recover. I am really grateful for your support- thank you x
