Story
It's been tough for all of us during this coronavirus pandemic, but for the many people who care for a family member or friend this has been an exceptionally difficult and uncertain time.
It's hard enough caring for a disabled child, a partner with a chronic illness, or a parent with addictions at the best of times. It can be isolating, stressful and tiring. But right now, it's a responsibility that's become even harder for unpaid carers.
That's why I've decided to brave the shave to raise money for VOCAL. They're a local charity who supports unpaid carers in Edinburgh and Midlothian. They're continuing to provide amazing support through lockdown with online support sessions and by letting carers know about the help that's available to them.
And I couldn't let these long locks go to waste, so I'll also be donating my hair to a charity making wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer.
Scissors and clippers are at the ready for Saturday 13th June.
Please support me, donate, and be an Agent of Happiness - thank you!
