Story
Cyclists will travel from Dortmund to Huddersfield to raise funds for the Keep It Up campaign, which generates funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Huddersfield Town Academy.
On 2nd May 2017, they will depart PPG Canalside on coaches heading for Hull.
At roughly 7pm, they will board a ferry to Rotterdam. Upon arrival, the coach journey will continue to Dortmund.
Arriving at noon, the cyclists will begin the return journey from Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion. Cycling around 45 miles to the first stop of Wesel.
4th May, the cyclists cross the border into the Netherlands, ending at the city of Nijmegen 42 miles later.
5th May is the longest, 88 grueling miles across the Netherlands to Rotterdam for the evening ferry back to Hull.
6th May, sees cyclists make the return journey from Hull, ending at PPG Canalside after 80 miles.
The lap of honour takes place at the final game of the season. Cyclists will meet at PPG Canalside at 11am and travel to the stadium together for the noon kick off.
