BUILDING A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR WISBECH TOWN CRICKET AND HOCKEY CLUB!!
A NEW HOME
The main aim of 'The Crockey Project' is to create an inspiring and impressive new pavilion for members of WTCHC and an attractive facility for the community.
The existing pavilion is no longer fit for purpose, with insufficient changing space for the teams we currently run, not the mention the shortage of disabled facilities and separate changing for umpires and officials.
Originally constructed in 1961, the pavilion is now in a very sad state of repair both inside and out, causing it to be uneconomical to run. We are constantly papering over the cracks!
Our club has created and developed a thriving youth section in both sports and it is our aim to increase these numbers and swell the overall membership for many years to come.
The planned increase of social space inside the pavilion will generate increased opportunity for fundraising events both within the club and benefit the wider community.
