Story

These awards have been created in memory of Professor Sir David Watson, honouring his leadership in encouraging community-university engagement - full details of the scheme and activity to date can be found here.

Community-university engagement is still an emerging field, often establishing and developing effective partnerships between community movements and academics difficult.

Each year, we will recognise outstanding examples of community-university engagement across the world, highlighting their impact and raising awareness.

By giving, you will boost innovative collaborations between leaders in communities and academia, working together on today’s most complex challenges in social justice, resilience and equity.

All donors are invited to vote for the winners each year, with the winning entries receiving a financial award for their activities.

Please become part of this legacy for David by making a donation today.
