Following the success of #CookForSyria in 2017 we are pleased to announce we will be bringing the nationwide fundraising initiative back in 2018. 

In aid of UNICEF Australia’s Syria Crisis Appeal – a month-long campaign kicking off on Monday 01st June.

Throughout June restaurateurs, chefs, bakers and café owners from around Australia have been invited to take part in #CookForSyria by putting a ‘Syrian inspired twist’ to one of their favourite signature dishes and donating $5 from each sale of that dish. 

We are also asking people to cook at home and host their own supper clubs and bake sales following the recipes and tips at http://cookforsyria.com/au/recipe/.

Syrian cuisine is one of the oldest in the world and reflects the country’s rich cultural heritage.  Coming into it's eight year of conflict. Syrians are facing the largest humanitarian crisis in the world. Through the #CookForSyria campaign we will raise vital funds and awareness of the situation in Syria.
