Unicef Syria Winter Appeal 2015/2016
The conflict in Syria has raged for five years, placing millions of children in terrible danger.
Children’s lives have been turned upside down by this brutal conflict. So many have lost family, friends and schools. So many have been forced to flee their homes.
More than 8 million Syrian children are now in urgent need of life-saving aid in what is the greatest humanitarian crisis since World War 2.
No place is safe in Syria. Violence has become commonplace reaching homes, schools, hospitals, parks, and playgrounds.
More than 2 million children are without regular access to aid inside Syria, including at least 200,000 children living under siege. More than 80% of Syria’s children need humanitarian assistance.
Unicef will not rest until we reach every child in danger.
Children urgently need food, clean water and health care, as well as life-saving protection from violence and the chance to learn in safety.
Please help Syria’s children now.
