The Royal Latin School in Buckingham is one of the oldest state schools in England. In response to decreasing levels of government investment in our site, we created a charitable campaign to put an end to the disadvantage our students faced in terms of the poor and outdated environment they have to learn in.

Sport is an important part of school life – but what we can offer to young people is really limited by old facilities and poor weather. We feel it's time to create a step change, and invest in the physical health and mental wellbeing of our young people like never before, by offering them facilities which will inspire and support them to be more active, every day.

We plan to build a Sports Campus, for the benefit not only of our school, but the local community. We'll create a 3G pitch, large Fitness Suite, Mind & Body Zone and Sports Laboratory, to transform the way we teach and learn. We'll also work with community groups to help give people better access to a range of different activities, and hold regular community lectures by visiting sports professionals. The Sports Campus will be an innovative gateway to fitness and learning, all under one roof.

We're working hard to raise the £3million we need in order to build the Sports Campus and open the doors to our community in 2021. We need to raise the final £650,000 needed ASAP, so that we can go ahead and begin construction. It's a huge challenge, but with your help, we can do it!
