Story

Temperatures are dropping, daylight hours are short and for many of us thoughts now turn towards preparing for Christmas festivities. However, for the many homeless young people in Brighton & Hove, this time of year is particularly desperate and bleak.

Brighton has the third largest homeless population in the UK and this winter alone, The Sanctuary will support over 1,000 visits from young people with nowhere to call home.

The Sanctuary is a local charity, who has helping hundreds of homeless 16 – 25 year olds, including Will:

"Homelessness is a frightening, downward spiral that can just suck you up. Looking back, without The Sanctuary I wouldn’t be in the position I am now. I’ve got my own place and a job."

£10 can pay for a young person to have a shower, wash their clothes, have a hot meal and talk to our specially trained volunteers.

Thank you for donating and helping young adults, like Will, have a chance for a brighter future #lifechangers
