UPDATE:
Many dogs are now in new homes and some are being cared for in foster. Our fight still goes on as we have more dogs needing help who are not in the right homes and we can only help with your kindness.
We have a fundraising page and doing everything we can to support the ones already with us and others needing help.
Please support where you can.
" A mission to save the lives of a number of dogs held under unacceptable welfare conditions, has been undertaken over recent weeks. Now safe under a magnificant team of true rescue people, the work now starts to get veterinary treatment previously denied them, assessment to place in suitable homes and boarding costs while they receive everything to breathe without any fear.
The rescue community could not stand by and watch any longer. Dogs left with untreated infections, severe bloody poo and terrible upset stomach's. Samples were taken and it was found to be ringworm, some of these dogs have been left to suffer for months lacking in basic care.Dogs in for boarding went from a warm loving home, into freezing cold cells where dogs have been seen to be shivering badly. No heating from 5pm until at least 9am at the coldest time of the year. Some dogs not seeing daylight, locked away - making them turn from stressed to frightened dogs never wanting to return to their kennels if they were lucky enough to be taken on a walk with the kind volunteers who went home at night crying.
Dogs are now under the care of a team of rescues, working together and our aim as a Charity is to help financially cover the costs until they are safely placed. They are going to receive veterinary assessments, neutering, behaviour assessments, good food, warmth, love and above all safety.
'For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of dogs in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such dogs.'
