Before she even turned five, Maryam and her family suffered the freezing cold winter of 2014,after they were left homeless when their home was destroyed during the 2014 Israeli assault on Gaza.
With help of generous givers like yourself, and through Taawon’s work, Maryam and her family were able to go back to their home. Taawon rehabilitated their house, along with 1,300 housing units last year, and ended the displacement of 10,400 Gazans.
Moreover, Maryam and 200 of her friends received blankets and winter clothes which kept them warm during the harsh cold of last winter.
