On your marks.... Swimathon is back in 2018!
Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are teaming up and heading down to the pool for Swimathon 2018 – thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge.
Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, will be involved in Swimathon for the first time.
Marie Curie, the UK’s leading charity for people with any terminal illness and their families, has been Swimathon's charity partner ten times since it launched in 1986 and has raised over £17 million for the charity through the event during that time.
This is your chance to fundraise for two incredible causes. Take on the Swimathon 2018 challenge and make lives better by raising money for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie. As the world’s biggest fundraising swimming event, you can jump in the pool and make a difference at over 600 pools!
This is your swim – from 400m to 5k, there is a Swimathon challenge for you.
Take part in an organised Swimathon session or take part at a time and place which works for you with MySwimathon – the rewards and the challenge will remain the same.
You could even form a relay team to tackle the 1.5k and 5k distances with your water-loving friends. Whatever you do, the money you raise will help both charities.
