Registered charity Style for Soldiers has been supporting the most seriously injured service personnel who attended DMRC Headley Court from 2008 for the past 12 years. Providing bespoke tailor-made shirts, suits, shoes, hats, ties, and walking sticks restores pride in their appearance and helps them regain confidence following injuries, often both physical and psychological. Style for Soldiers has also sponsored former patients into new careers, providing them a new focus and hope for the future. The charity organises reunions for the veterans, their partners and children and hosts the largest gatherings for injured service personnel. Their support for patients continues long after their discharge from Headley Court and the Services. The charity has no overheads, staff costs or premises, so all proceeds go directly to the beneficiaries.
