According to the International Labour Organisation (ILO), in 2016, there were an estimated 40.3 million men, women and children around the world who were victims of human trafficking. 

Human trafficking and modern slavery are hidden crimes. Through intelligence-led prevention, STOP THE TRAFFIK is shining a light in vulnerable communities to uncover and disrupt this criminal activity.

In 2017, our 5 Facebook campaigns reached just under 2 million people in Livingstone (Zambia), Stockton (CA, USA), Leicester (UK), Nigeria - Libya - Italy route, and Cambridgeshire (UK).

Every single story or piece of intelligence our Centre for Intelligence-Led Prevention receives helps shine a light on these crimes around the world. If we were able to scale up, we are as confident as we have ever been that this work can achieve new levels of awareness and resilience in those vulnerable communities.
