The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileSt Michael's Hospice Moonlight and Memories Walk is a 10k coastal walk by the light of a full moon, from The White Rock Hotel along to Galley Hill and back again, and is a fun event for all the family to take part in.*
Write memories of your loved ones on a ribbon (provided by the Hospice) and tie it to our 'memory wall' at Hastings Pier as a dedication to them. The ribbons will then stay on the 'memory wall' for one month.
Water and snacks are provided at the half way point and a lovely post walk supper is available for you to enjoy after the walk at The White Rock Hotel.
Please note that the walk starts at 9pm, however registration opens at 8pm - all walkers must register on the night and sign themselves back in at the end of the walk, so we can confirm everyone has returned safely.
There is a warm up at 8.45pm, in front of the pier and this is led by Jas of JasFit, she then leads the walk.
Fundraising for this event is highly recommended. You will each receive a sponsorship form for the walk however, you can also raise funds for the Hospice in a variety of fun ways such as a cake sale, a mufti day at work or even by selling kisses! It may help to know that:
