We need help to raise £275,000.   The three smallest bells are beyond re-tuning, so need to be replaced with three new bells. The remaining seven bells will be sent away to be re-tuned. The bells will then be rehung in a new metal frame, which will be placed lower in the tower where the walls are thicker and more stable. A new floor will be constructed beneath the new frame, the position of the clock mechanism will not be affected. Acoustic Shutters on the inside face of each of the four louvres will provide a measure of sound control. This will help with noise pollution, which will benefit our neighbours, but will not affect ringing for any service.
