Visit the charity's profileYeovil Islamic Centre & SSMCA has now been established for over 20 years. We are the only full functional Masjid And Islamic Centre in the South of Somerset. Alhamdulliah we offer 5 daily prayer, Jumuah prayer, adults and children's classes, marriage counselling and Islamic awareness sessions for non Muslims, schools, scout groups & local authorities. Just over two years ago we moved from our old building, which was over two shops in the town centre, to a new but derelict building which was once a garage. Alhamdulillah the conversion project started in Feb 2016 and is now 90% complete. However, we still require a total sum of £24,000 to purchase the carpets for the main prayer hall, ladies prayer area and the classes area. We make a humble appeal to all those reading this message to donate generously and spread this message far & wide. PLEASE HELP US TO PULL THIS PROJECT OVER THE FINISH LINE!
