Story
It's time to wake up to homelessness.
The number of rough sleepers across the UK continues to rise and whilst the problem is becoming more visible on our streets, there are also thousands of 'hidden homeless' sofa surfing or living in hostels and unsuitable temporary accommodation.
The cycle of homelessness involves much more than putting a roof over someones head - with our service users often dealing with complex issues, including addictions, histories of abuse, mental health, detrimental lifestyles and/or convictions.
If like us, you believe that everyone has the right to a safe, secure home, please join us or support us in this year's SleepOut 2018.
When: Friday 19th October
Where: Guildhall Square, Southampton
You can register as an individual or team via our website here: www.ssj.org.uk/sleep-out
Can't Sleep Out but still want to help? Any donations are greatly received and will help us continue our work across Hampshire.
