Story
Run to help provide life-changing support to Essex families affected by disability.
“Having somewhere to go where she can be effortlessly Ava is a gift.” That is how mum Liz Chaplin sums up SNAP, the charity that has been helping her severely disabled daughter for the past eight years.
The sponsorship money you raise goes directly to the services local families need most
Your efforts will help SNAP with its vital and ongoing drive to ‘Strengthen Families’ by providing specialist training talks and activity sessions.
£25 would help a family understand more about their child through specialist parent training talks.
£50 would help a child's development through one-to-one sessions with a family support worker.
£250 would provide sign language interpreters for parents with hearing impairments to enable them to benefit from specialist training.

SNAP - Special Needs And Parents
In the 23 years SNAP has operated, they have helped make life easier for families who have children and young people aged 0-25 with any special need or disability, by:
- improving confidence, self-esteem and emotional resilience
- reducing feelings of isolation
- improving specialist parenting skills
Your fundraising and any sponsorship raised will make a positive difference to families - and your local community.
