Many of the people we will be supporting have had to escape war or persecution because of their faith, their political views, race, social status, gender or profession, often with only what they could carry.
Support will be allocated in two key areas:
- At-risk academics: The University can host academics who are in danger or exile. Your donations will provide financial and practical support to help them continue their careers until such time as they can return home.
- Refugee students: The University offers fully funded undergraduate and post graduate scholarships for refugees including those seeking asylum in the UK and throughout 2016 we will be raising funds to increase this support.
Thank you for your support
