Story
As the Syrian conflict enters its eighth year, a generation of children is growing up knowing only the horror of war.
Children are being killed, maimed, forced from their homes and denied access to education and healthcare on a daily basis.
Over 2 million people are in hard-to-reach or besieged areas in Syria, risking death, injury and abuse on a daily basis and in need of food, water and medical care.
More than 11 million Syrians have been forced from their homes, either fleeing to other areas within the country or to neighbouring countries in the region.
The humanitarian needs are vast and urgent but despite the challenges, we're working with brave partners on the ground to offer a lifeline to children caught up in this crisis.
Save the Children has reached over 3.3 million people across the region including over 2.1 million children. We are on the ground, doing whatever it takes to help save lives and protect children's childhoods and futures. We're providing vital food and shelter support, supporting hospitals and schools to keep running and offering specialist emotional support to children recovering from the trauma of war.
But we urgently need your help to do more as the war continues to rage on. The situation in Syria is complex but there is one simple truth; children are suffering and we can help.
Your support will provide Syrian children with a lifeline in this unrelenting crisis.
